Palworld has an intriguing array of Pals. Each of these Pals is asking to get captured, but not everyone is going down without a fight. As the last Pal recorded in the Paldeck (for now), Jetdragon is the fastest flying mount in the game, so it’s no surprise it’s highly desired by many Tamers.
Finding the elusive dragon can be a bothersome task—let alone capturing it. The Dragon-type Pal poses a significant challenge for many. Even the most seasoned players in Palworld will have difficulty going face-to-face with it. Nevertheless, in this guide, we’ll spill all the details about where you can find Jetragon and what strategies you can employ to defeat/catch it.
What is A Jetragon in Palworld?
Jetragon is a Legendary Pal that’s a Dragon-type, and it’s one of the strongest Pals you can get in the game as of now. Since it’s a Legendary, Jetragon has some of the best stats you’ll find, especially regarding Defense, HP, and Attack stats. While Jetragon’s work speed is low, it makes up for it by being one of the fastest mounts once you unlock its saddle.
With its long white claws, bright pink wings, and light blue body, Pokemon fanatics can quickly tell that Jetragon’s look is highly inspired by Salamence—the Dragon Pokemon. Salamence is a pseudo-legendary Pokemon and the final evolved form of Bagon.
Here are some more details about Jetragon:

Where to Find Jetragon in Palworld
You can find Jetragon exclusive in a specific spot on the world map. You’ll need to make your way to the Volcanic Island, which is situated on the southwest side of the map. Once on the island, go to the coordinates -789, -321. This area is also close to the fast travel point in the Beach of Everlasting Summer.
Since this region has hot temperatures that could melt you in a few minutes, you’ll need to wear a Heat-Resistant Armor to survive while trying to capture the Legendary Pal. If you’re not the type to do Pal battles, you can put two Jetragons together in the Breeding Farm to create more. Obviously, you’ll need to capture at least two for this to work.
Palworld Tips On How to Catch Jetragon
Jetragon is one of the four Legendary Pals in the game, so it’s safe to say that you will go up against a formidable opponent that won’t easily be subdued. Since Jetragon is a Dragon-type, bringing along Ice-type Pals is an effective counter. Your battle against the Legendary Pal will be a lot easier if you bring along Pals such as Chillet, Frostallion, or Ice Reptyro with you. Frostallion—by the way—is another Legendary Pal you can capture.
Moreover, given Jetragon’s status, we highly advise you to arm yourself with a couple of Ultra or Legendary Spheres to increase your chances of adding him to your Paldeck. You’ll also need to be at max level (level 50) and have the best gear equipped even to have a slight chance of capturing it.
Breeding Jetragon Palworld
As we’ve said before, the only way to produce more Jetragons is to use put one male and female Jetragon on the Breeding Farm. Besides that, players are discovering Palworld breeding combinations and strategies for maximizing the results of their efforts. There’s likely more to discover and plenty of additions to come since Palworld is still in early access, but here are some breeding combinations to use Jetragon on:
- Jetragon + Nitewing = Menasting
- Jetragon + Mossanda = Menasting
- Penking + Jetragon = Jormuntide
- Incineram + Jetragon = Warsect
