Why Do Gamers Buy Summoners War: Lost Centuria Account?
It’s half a decade since we first saw the launch of Summoners War: Sky Arena, and it received stellar reviews. With Com2Us, the developers of the Summoners War franchise, back at it again, they have revealed that they’re working on a new SW game that’s coming soon. Fans have been waiting for a fresh, new take on the series since it has been a while since we last saw a SW game. We’ve all seen our fair share of RPGs where gacha rerolls are the norm, but it looks like Summoners War: Lost Centuria isn’t all about that and instead focuses on other aspects that are similar to the last game (Summoners War: Sky Arena).
Players will be going toe-to-toe against other players with 8 monsters/heroes and 3 spells in their arsenal. The composition is similar to autochess games that aren’t often seen online. However, this is where SW: Lost Centuria takes it up a notch. Everything in the game is a PvP situation and happens in real time. This means that there’s no auto-play in the game, forcing players to focus their attention wholly on what’s happening on the board. Idly watching a team fall apart and not being able to do anything about it is one of the most frustrating things that can happen in such games. Being able to strategize and time the skills needed to potentially counter an opponent’s moves truly lets a player’s reflexes shine. There’s no one way to play the game. What matters is how gamers compose their team and thinking two steps ahead of the opposing player.
Is Summoners War: Lost Centuria Available to Play?
Summoners War: Lost Centuria is slated for an April 2021 release. Com2Us hasn’t said anything about whether this will be a global release or not, but it’s not impossible for them to do so as this was the case with their previous game, Summoners War: Sky Arena in 2014. During the announcement of their newest SW game, however, Com2Us opened the closed beta to the public from November 21, 2020 to November 30, 2020 to gather feedback on what the players think of it.
Getting to Know the Characters
There’s still a lot of debate going around regarding which heroes/monsters are the best, so let’s take this time to get to know the characters and how one can become more important than the other. Each character in Summoners War: Lost Centuria has an element and type. There are three elements: Earth, Water, and Fire. One element can trump the other in terms of effectiveness, similar to rock, paper, and scissors. As for types, there are also three of them that players should know about: Attack, Support, and HP. Attack type characters deal more damage than the other types, Support type characters give buffs that increase a team’s stats or add resistance, and HP type characters are considered to be the tanks in the game. Each character can then be leveled up to make them stronger. Players can also equip them with Skill Stones and Runes to give them an added bonus in power.
Summoners War: Lost Centuria has a collector’s vibe to it. To get stronger and be able to defeat opponents in place, players need strong characters and items. This means that they will no doubt experiment what works best for them and try to acquire the rarest characters in the game. This doesn’t mean that heroes/monsters that have a lower rarity than others are useless though. In other games, people tend to favor characters that are part of the highest rarity tier, but in Summoners War: Lost Centuria, Com2Us still manages to make them relevant. Lower rarity characters in SWLC have lower mana requirements. This means that they can use skills more often than others. Having an overpowered team doesn’t guarantee a win. Sometimes what matters is having a higher frequency of skill usage.
