These stars from all sorts of Marvel properties fight one another in a one-on-one side-scrolling match, trading blows until one has his or her life bar depleted to zero. To add an element of depth, characters have types, which in turn determine which characters they’re strong and weak against. This goes like the following: Mutant > Skill > Science > Mystic > Cosmic > Tech > Mutant.

Keep in mind that the “best” will differ with regards to the class in question, making matchups quite a critical component to victory. For Tech, it is highly recommended that you use either Vision or Starlord. For the Mutant class, Wolverine and Iceman are among the frontrunners. When it comes to Skill, you’d be hard-pressed to find equals for both Black Widow and Crossbones are top-tier. As for Science, Hulk, Quake, and Spiderman OG are fine choices. Should you wish to prioritize Mystic capabilities, Scarlet Witch and Dr. Voodoo are ideal. Lastly, Thor and Phoenix are ahead of the curb when it comes to Cosmic.
