Going for Exotic, Ascended, or GW2 Legendary weapons is your best bet. These three rarities have the best bonuses and characteristics. Legendary weapons need a precursor weapon and a few other components. They're the strongest weapons around and have a purple in the inventory. Take the legendary greatsword Eternity, for example. Its strength ranges from 1,045 to 1,155 and automatically has a Superior Sigil of Leeching on one slot. Other than that, it looks cool and changes color depending on the time of day. Other examples of legendary weapons are the Bifrost, Frenzy, Howler, The Minstrel, Sunrise, Twilight, Astralaria, Eureka, and HOPE.
