If you don’t have a Premium TF2 account, you can simply purchase a Competitive Matchmaking Pass from the Mann Co. Store. This otherwise ranked mode is less chaotic in nature and more refined than Casual mode. There are five ranks in the game (arranged from lowest to highest): Mercenary, Contract Killer, Executioner, Expert Assassin, and Death Merchant. All of these ranks except Death Merchant have three sub-ranks to climb.
