Throughout your adventure in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, you’ll unlock various weapons through crafting and story progression. Without a doubt, Terminus Weapons are the best ones you can have in your arsenal. Sure, Ascension Weapons make for great picks for the majority of your playthrough, but when you’re nearing the end of the game’s main story, you’ll want to get your hands on something better once you get to the late game.

They’re incredibly arduous to obtain since they only drop from the hardest quest at the highest difficulty level. But fret not—we’ll walk you through how to unlock the 6th weapon in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

How to Unlock Terminus Weapons in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

Every character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink has a 6th (and final) weapon—known as the Terminus Weapon—which you can unlock. While the requirements to get these coveted armaments are demanding, it’s not impossible to accomplish either. You must first clear the campaign, clear every mission on Proud difficulty, and farm a quest with Proto Bahamut for a chance to get a Terminus Weapon as a rare drop.

How to Unlock Proud Difficulty in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

You can unlock the Proud difficulty level by reaching the Zegagrande Legend rank..To increase your rank, you must complete all the key quests from previous difficulty levels and move up slowly. The process isn’t exactly a cakewalk since you’ll have to repeat these quests for each mode.

Once you’ve cleared all the key quests from Normal and Easy, you’ll achieve the Veteran Skyfarer rank. You can take on Hard, Very Hard, and Extreme difficulty quests from there. You’ll only reach the Zegagrande Legend after clearing all of these key quests in these three tiers, after which you’ll gain access to the Maniac and Proud difficulty quests. Like before, you must clear all the key quests in Maniac before taking on Proud missions.

Unlocking The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage Quest GBF Relink

When you’ve finally cleared all the key quests in Proud difficulty, a new quest titled The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage will pop up. This is a repeatable quest that you must farm for a chance to get a Terminus Weapon as a drop. That’s right—there’s no assurance that you’ll get the 6th weapon after completing the quest; everything falls in RNG. Since Terminus Weapons are considered a rare drop, you can expect to do considerable farming if you’re hoping to get the weapons for every character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s roster.

The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage is a massive undertaking as it’s one of the final endgame activities you can participate in. With a recommended PWR level of 17,500, it’s best to equip your best gear and skills before facing Proto Bahamut. The drop will be random, giving you only a chance to grab each character’s Terminus Weapon. Considering that there are 19 characters in the game, you’ll have to triumph over this brutal quest at least 19 times to get all the Terminus Weapons.

Tip: Fight Proto Bahamut using Light attacks since he’s weak to Light damage. Make sure to use a team featuring Io, Charlotta, and Ferry. All of them should be at least level 100. Otherwise, you’ll get wiped out quickly.

Can You Craft GBF Relink Terminus Weapons?

You can’t craft Terminus Weapons at the Blacksmith or get them from a quest except for The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage. The best weapons before them are the Ascension Weapons, which are already strong and good enough to get you through the entirety of the campaign. However, if you want the “ultimate weapon,” Terminus Weapons are the cream of the crop.

You can take Terminus Weapons to Siero to awaken them once they reach the top level, like with Ascension Weapons. This makes them stronger than over level 150 weapons. To max out your Terminus Weapons, you must upgrade all of a character’s weapons to the highest level. Skipping any weapons that you don’t want to use is a no-go.
