Destiny 2 Brave Arsenal God Rolls List

Destiny 2 Brave Arsenal God Rolls List

Coming to Destiny 2’s Into The Light update next week is the new Brave weapon series, which is a collection of all the most beloved weapons in the history of D2’s run time. Many famous and infamous Legendary weapons will be returning to the game with new perks and will drop as a reward for the new upcoming game mode, Onslaught. Part of the collection are the old PvP pinnacle weapons like Recluse, Luna’s Howl, and The Mountaintop; raid weapons like Forbearance, Midnight Coup, and Succession; famous Seasonal weapons like Falling Guillotine, Hammerhead, and Blast Furnace; and old D1 legendaries such as Hung Jury SR4 and Elsie’s Rifle.

The Recluse

Starting with the best Void Primary SMG in the game, The Recluse was previously a Competitive PvP pinnacle weapon reward for reaching Fabled rank and was a PvP and PvE powerhouse. For its new re-issued state, we have the following perks:

Third Column

  • Feeding Frenzy
  • Enlightened Action
  • Subsistence
  • Threat Detector
  • Repulsor Brace
  • Hip-Fire Grip
  • Dynamic Sway Reduction

Fourth Column

  • Master of Arms
  • Target Lock
  • Frenzy
  • Destabilizing Rounds
  • Surrounded
  • Tap the Trigger
  • Desperate Measures

Some PvE god rolls for The Recluse could be Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds for Void-based subclasses, Feeding Frenzy / Master at Arms for a generalist role, and Subsistence / Frenzy for longer engagements. Feeding Frenzy and Master at Arms is the original perk combo that made it infamous since Master at Arms gives you a damage buff just by killing enemies with ANY weapon, giving it very high uptime. You can have any reload perk with Desperate Measures since this perk works like Rampage, Swashbuckler, and Adrenaline Junkie all in one but with higher uptime. Enlightened Action / Target Lock are great if you want to focus on single target damage.

For PvP god rolls, Dynamic Sway Reduction and Tap The Trigger are the best consistency perks for staying on target, especially for a 900 RPM submachine gun.

Forbearance

Considered as the best add-clear Arc Special Grenade Launcher in the game, this previously raid-exclusive weapon for Vow of the Disciple will be making its way to the game. For its perks, we have the following:

Third Column

  • Unrelenting
  • Stats for All
  • Demolitionist
  • Ambitious Assassin
  • Surplus
  • Steady Hands
  • Disruption Break

Fourth Column

  • Wellspring
  • Golden Tricorn
  • One for All
  • Bait and Switch
  • Chain Reaction
  • Rampage
  • Desperate Measures

For PvE, the absolute god roll perks for this weapon are Ambitious Assassin / Chain Reaction, as Chain Reaction will cause enemies killed to explode with that weapon’s element, which procs Ambitious Assassin, giving you an extra shot with the grenade launcher. This perk combo alone clears large groups of weaker adds and stays competitive even up to Grandmaster content.

For PvP, one possible roll for this weapon is Surplus / Wellspring for better ability synergy as Surplus increases handling and reload speed per charged ability, and Wellspring to restore ability energy once they are on cooldown.

The Mountaintop

Like The Recluse, The Mountaintop was a Competitive PvP reward for getting enough GL kills in the Crucible. This weapon was unique as it was the only Micro Missile Frame weapon in the game, meaning that its projectiles travel in a straight line. It deals heavy single target damage in both PvE and PvP. For perks, it has the following:

Third Column

  • Ambitious Assassin
  • Impulse Amplifier
  • Demolitionist
  • Lead from Gold
  • Slickdraw
  • Auto-Loading Holster
  • Overflow

Fourth Column

  • Rampage
  • Vorpal Weapon
  • Adrenaline Junkie
  • One for All
  • Harmony
  • Recombination
  • Frenzy

For PvE, some god rolls include Auto-Loading Holster / Vorpal Weapon, Ambitious Assassin / Rampage, and Overflow / Vorpal Weapon. Vorpal Weapon gives a permanent 15% against bosses, Auto-Loading Holster reloads weapons when stowed, AA overflows the magazine based on kills, and Overflow doubles the mag when picking up Special ammo. Choose whichever of these perk combinations suits your playstyle, as these are all solid choices.

For PvP, Impulse Amplifier / Frenzy is the god roll as Impulse Amplifier makes the projectile travel faster, while Frenzy can easily proc on most PvP engagements.

Falling Guillotine

This Void Vortex frame sword from Season of Arrivals was one of the best Legendary swords in the game with its high DPS potential. The old version of this sword is still viable even with the current sandbox, but with the reissued variant from the Onslaught game mode, new players can now receive one with even better perks. It has the following perks:

Third Column

  • Vorpal Weapon
  • Relentless Strikes
  • Repulsor Brace
  • Frenzy
  • Attrition Orbs
  • Chain Reaction
  • Duelist's Trance

Fourth Column

  • Surrounded
  • Whirlwind Blade
  • Destabilizing Rounds
  • Eager Edge
  • Bait and Switch
  • Sword Logic
  • Desperate Measures

The absolute PvE god rolls for Falling Guillotine are Relentless Strikes / Whirling Blade for better sword ammo economy, Frenzy / Whirlwind Blade for high consistent DPS, Frenzy/ Bait and Switch for burst DPS, or Vorpal Weapon / Whirlwind Blade for DPS with no commitment. Whirlwind Blade increases your weapon damage by 3% per hit, stacking up to 30% max damage, making that 4th column perk the absolute best-in-slot trait for Falling Guillotine.

For PvP, Chain Reaction / Eager Edge is a good PvP roll since Eager Edge lets you close the distance quickly against more distant enemies.

Midnight Coup

A weapon belonging to the oldest raid of Destiny 2, the Midnight Coup hand cannon from The Leviathan raid makes its return with new and improved reprised perks. Seen firsthand in action during the first dev stream, this hand cannon comes with some great perks in both slots. These are the following:

Third Column

  • Outlaw
  • Firefly
  • Shoot to Loot
  • Explosive Payload
  • Moving Target
  • Attrition Orbs
  • Enlightened Action

Fourth Column

  • Rampage
  • Kinetic Tremors
  • Zen Moment
  • One for All
  • Frenzy
  • Opening Shot
  • Desperate Measures

Some great PvE perk rolls could be Explosive Payload / Kinetic Tremors for single target damage and Explosive Payload / Desperate Measure, or Rampage if you want to stack damage buffs more.

PvP has some high-tier PvP perks, such as Moving Target / Zen Moment and Moving Target / Opening Shot. The roll with Zen Moment grants more stability, while the Opening Shot roll adds extra range.

Luna’s Howl

This hand cannon was coveted back in the old Competitive mode days. It has the recoil of a 180 RP hand cannon but has the damage and fire rate of a 140 RPM hand cannon, making Luna’s Howl a top contender for best HC in the game. Its reprised variant has the following perks:

Third Column

  • Eye of the Storm
  • Subsistence
  • Discord
  • Encore
  • Slideshot
  • Enlightened Action
  • Heal Clip

Fourth Column

  • Magnificent Howl
  • Kill Clip
  • Incandescent
  • Desperate Measures
  • Opening Shot
  • Precision Instrument
  • Harmony

For the best PvE perks, Subsistence / Magnificent Howl is a great combo as Magnificent’s Howl perk states that precision kills store charges in the gun that deal increased and have increased range, and each kill with a charge adds another charge to the gun. Subsistence will extend Magnificent Howl's uptime, making it a potential PvE staple. If you’re planning a Solar build, you can swap Magnificent Howl for Incandescent to spread Scorch stacks.

For PvP, Eye of the Storm / Opening Shot is great for hand cannon consistency, but you can swap out Opening Shot with Magnificent Howl if you’re confident you can get kills.

Blast Furnace

This weapon was once part of Season of the Forge with the Black Armory family of weapons. Blast Furnace is a Kinetic Aggressive Frame pulse rifle that previously dominated PvP with its highly consistent performance. Now, the beloved pulse rifle will return with the following perks:

Third Column

  • Zen Moment
  • Snapshot
  • Shoot to Loot
  • Keep Away
  • Perpetual Motion
  • Kinetic Tremors
  • Headseeker

Fourth Column

  • Kill Clip
  • Firefly
  • One for All
  • Frenzy
  • Rampage
  • Rapid Hit
  • Desperate Measures.

For PvE god rolls, Kinetic Tremors / Frenzy or Kinetic Tremors / Rampage are very good damage perks to bring, especially in a pulse rifle.

Its PvP perks are more diverse, with classics like Zen Moment, Keep Away, Snapshot, Perpetual Motion, and Headseeker in the third column, Kill Clip, and Rapid Hit in the fourth column. A top-tier roll would be Zen Moment / Rapid Hit for the highest consistency or Headseeker / Kill Clip for optimal killing power. With an intrinsically predictable recoil pattern, PvP fans will love this weapon.

Hammerhead

Like the Blast Furnace, Hammerhead is a Void heavy machine gun that belongs to the Black Armory collection. Many players have considered it the top-tier machine gun back in its heyday but now, Hammerhead will return with even more perks. These include:

Third Column

  • Feeding Frenzy
  • Destabilizing Rounds
  • Envious Assassin
  • Rampage
  • Fourth Time’s the Charm
  • Rewind Rounds
  • Under-Over

Fourth Column

  • Surrounded
  • High-Impact Reserves
  • Target Lock
  • Onslaught
  • Killing Tally
  • Desperate Measures
  • Tap the Trigger

The absolute best clear god roll for this weapon is Rampage / Killing Tally, as both perks feed each other. Killing Tally adds damage to the current mag, which makes getting kills for Rampage easier. Another option includes Rewind Rounds or Fourth Times The Charm / Target Lock for higher single target DPS.

For PvP. Fourth Times The Charm / Tap The Trigger helps with recoil management and ammo economy. Rampage / Onsalught can make snowballing kills easier if you’re aggressive enough.

Hung Jury SR4

Initially found in Destiny 1: The Taken King, this Kinetic Scout Rifle has returned in Destiny 2 as a Nightfall reward along with an Adept variant for clearing GMs. Once again, it has returned for Into The Light with a slight change to its perk pool. The following perks per column are:

Third Column

  • Rewind Rounds
  • Enlightened Action
  • Kinetic Tremors
  • Rapid Hit
  • Shoot to Loot
  • No Distractions
  • Loose Change.

Fourth Column

  • One for All
  • Cascade Point
  • Box Breathing
  • Firefly
  • Precision Instrument
  • Desperate Measures
  • Explosive Payload

With a new spin on the old Hung Jury perk pool, we have Kinetic Tremors / Explosive Payload, which can be used in the hardest content. You also have Rewind Rounds / One For All and Shoot to Loot / Explosive Payload.

For PvP, there is Rapid Hit / Cascade Point for consistency and No Distractions / Box Breathing for a faster TTK just by aiming down sights for long enough.

Edge Transit

This Void Heavy Grenade Launcher used to drop so frequently that players would instantly dismantle it upon picking one up. It first dropped during the Forsaken expansion and had some bad perk rolls. Now, the reissued variant may potentially be a boss-killing machine with these new perks:

Third Column

  • Chain Reaction
  • Cascade Point
  • Impulse Amplifier
  • Field Prep
  • Autoloading Holster
  • Envious Assassin
  • Repulsor Brace.

Fourth Column

  • Frenzy
  • Destabilizing Rounds
  • Deconstruct
  • Adrenaline Junkie
  • Bait and Switch
  • Full Court
  • Explosive Light

Some potentially powerful PvE perks include Auto Loading Holster / Bait and Switch, Field Prep / Explosive Light, Repulsor Brace / Destabilizing Rounds (for Void builds) and Envious Assassin / Full Court. All these perks except Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds can be mixed together based on your reload preference and damage buff.

For PvP, Impulse Amplifier / Full Court is ideal in many PvP scenarios.

Succession

A Kinetic Aggressive Frame sniper rifle, this Deep Stone Crypt exclusive weapon is now free for all players for Into The Light. It has the following perks:

Third Column

  • Moving Target
  • No Distractions
  • Lead from Gold
  • Reconstruction
  • Firmly Planted
  • Demolitionist
  • Discord

Fourth Column

  • Snapshot Sights
  • Redirection
  • Recombination,
  • Vorpal Weapon
  • Focused Fury
  • Firing Line
  • Box Breathing

The best PvE god roll is Reconstruction / Vorpal Weapon for sustained boss DPS.

For PvP, No Distractions or Moving Target / Snapshot Sights are the best consistency perks in the weapon.

Elsie’s Rifle

The Legendary variant of the No Time to Explain exotic pulse rifle now has random rolls with some decent perks for a High Impact frame pulse.

Third Column

  • Feeding Frenzy
  • Zen Moment
  • Repulsor Brace
  • Loose Change
  • Keep Away
  • Under-Over
  • Rewind Rounds

Fourth Column

  • Adrenaline Junkie
  • Frenzy
  • Destabilizing Rounds
  • Kill Clip
  • Desperado
  • Desperate Measures
  •

Some viable PvE options are Repulsor Brace / Destabilizing Rounds for Void builds, Rewind Rounds / Frenzy for long fights, and Feeding Frenzy / Adrenaline Junkie.

For PvP, Zen Moment / Desperado is a powerful combination for decreasing TTK. You can replace Desperado with Kill Clip if you prefer seeing more damage.
